Description:
When a single medication is ineffective for treating hypertension (high blood pressure), Tazloc Trio 80 Tablet is a combination of medications. It lowers high blood pressure, which lowers the risk of a heart attack and stroke in the future.
You can take the Tazloc Trio 80 Tablet with or without food. Your illness and how you react to the medication will determine the dosage. Make an effort to take it every day at the same time. Until your doctor instructs you otherwise, it is crucial that you continue taking this medication. It is advisable to avoid taking this medication within four hours of bedtime because it contains a diuretic (water pill) that will increase your urination. Even if you feel well, use this medication on a daily basis to maximise its benefits. Usually exhibiting no symptoms, high blood pressure can raise your risk of heart attack or stroke if you stop taking medication.
Headache, dizziness, exhaustion, taste change, flu-like symptoms, diarrhoea, and sinusitis are the most frequent adverse effects of this medication. If any of these trouble you, worsen, or persist, see your doctor. When taking medication, stay hydrated to prevent severe thirst, dry mouth, and muscle weakness.
Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You also need to tell your doctor what other medicines you are taking especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions. You should have your blood pressure, kidney function, level of electrolytes, and blood sugar level checked regularly to make sure that this medicine is working properly.
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Tazloc Trio 80 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
- Side Effects:
- Common side effects of Tazloc Trio Dizziness Nausea Peripheral edema Flu-like symptoms Diarrhea Upper respiratory tract infection Visual disturbance
- How to use:
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tazloc Trio 80 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- How it works:
- Three medications are combined in the Tazloc Trio 80 Tablet: hydrochlorothiazide, amlodipine, and telmisartan. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB), while telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They reduce blood pressure by relaxing and enlarging the blood vessels. As a diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide causes the body to excrete excess water and certain electrolytes through urine. It also improves blood flow over time by relaxing blood arteries.
