Syntran Capsule belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It works by stopping the growth of fungi and is used to treat infections of the mouth, throat, vagina, and other parts of the body including fingernails and toenails. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.

Syntran Capsule should be taken at the dose and period suggested by your doctor. It should be swallowed whole and can be consumed with food. To get the most out of this medication, take it at regular intervals and continue to use it until your prescription is filled, even if your symptoms go away after a few days. If you discontinue therapy too soon, the infection may resurface, and missing doses can raise your risk of infections that are resistant to future treatment. Tell your doctor if the infection does not improve or worsens.
