Dolo 650mg Tablet is used for pain relief and fever. It is used to relieve pain in conditions like headache, joint pain, muscle pain or dental pain.
Interactions / Warnings:
Taking Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Dolo 650mg Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy.Adequate and well-controlled human studies have shown low or no risk.
- Expert advice:
- Good for pain relief and fever but not effective in joint pain due to poor anti-inflammatory action. Starts working within one hour. Wait for at least 4 hours before taking the next dose. Present in many over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medicines. Avoid taking more than one paracetamol product at a time to prevent overdose. Doses >4 g/day (2 g in alcoholics) may cause liver, kidney or heart problems. Discontinue Dolo and inform your doctor immediately if rash occurs. For children, measure the doses of liquid Dolo using the measuring cup instead of a teaspoon to avoid under or over-dosage. Avoid excess alcohol intake (>3 glasses/day) when taking Dolo as it may cause liver damage.

- Dolo 650mg Tablet is a pain reliever (analgesic) and fever reducer (antipyretic). It works by blocking the production of the chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that transmit pain signals and induce fever.

- Q. What if I vomit after taking Dolo 650 Tablet? If you vomit in less than 30 minutes after having a dose of Dolo 650 Tablet tablets or syrup, take the same dose again. If you vomit more than 30 minutes after a dose of tablets or syrup, you do not need to take another dose, until the next normal dose. Q. When will I feel better after taking Dolo 650 Tablet? Usually you will start feeling better after about half an hour of taking Dolo 650 Tablet. Q. How often can I take Dolo 650 Tablet? You should only take four doses of Dolo 650 Tablet in 24 hours. There should be a gap of at least 4 hours between two doses. Do not take Dolo 650 Tablet for more than 3 days without first talking to your doctor.
