Minipress XL 2.5mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure and lower your risk of having a heart attack or stroke. It may also be used to treat heart failure and mild enlargement of the prostate gland
Uses / Indications:
Minipress XL 2.5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and Raynaud's disease. It is also used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) in men.
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Minipress XL 2.5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
- Expert advice:
- Dizziness or fainting may occur, especially when rising from a lying or sitting position. Getting up slowly may help improve the problem. These effects may get aggravated by consuming alcohol during exercise, in hot weather, or when standing for long durations. May affect your eye muscles; this should be harmless unless you are scheduled for a cataract surgery.
