- Pregnancy interaction:
- ZyrCold Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

- Stomach upset, Dryness in mouth, Fatigue, Dizziness, Sedation, Allergic reaction.
- How to use:
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. ZyrCold Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- How it works:
- ZyrCold Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cetirizine and ambroxol which relieve cough. Cetirizine is an antiallergic that treats runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

- Q. Can I drink alcohol while taking ZyrCold Tablet? No, avoid drinking alcohol while taking ZyrCold Tablet. Drinking alcohol will increase the severity of drowsiness/sleepiness caused by ZyrCold Tablet. Q. Can I breastfeed while taking ZyrCold Tablet? No, it is not advisable to breastfeed while using ZyrCold Tablet. This medicine contains Cetirizine, an antihistamine, which can pass into the breast milk and may harm the baby. Inform your doctor that you are breastfeeding if you are advised to take this medicine. Q. Can the use of ZyrCold Tablet cause sleepiness or drowsiness? Yes, ZyrCold Tablet may make you feel drowsy or sleepy. Do not drive car, operate machinery, work at heights or participate in potentially dangerous activities until you know how the medicine affects you. Inform your doctor if you experience such episodes while you are taking this medicine.
