Description:
Zenoxa 450 Tablet treats and prevents epilepsy (seizures). However, it cannot cure epilepsy and will only prevent seizures for the duration of your treatment.
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Zenoxa 450 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
- Side Effects:
- The most common side effects of this medication are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue or drowsiness, unsteadiness, and low blood salt levels. The majority of these are not significant. Continue taking the medication, but consult your doctor if these side effects disturb you or do not resolve. However, if you see a skin rash or redness, contact your doctor immediately. It could lead to Stevens-Johnson syndrome, a potentially fatal skin disorder. Long-term usage of this medication can lead to osteoporosis (low bone mass) and an increased risk of breaking a bone. This medication, like other anticonvulsants, can lead to suicidal thoughts and behaviours. If your mood becomes depressed, consult your doctor.

- Swallow it whole with a glass of water, without chewing or crushing the dose form.Dispersible tablet: dissolve the tablet in a spoonful of heated and cooled water before consuming it.
