Allegra-M Tablet is used in the treatment of sneezing and runny nose due to allergies.
Interactions / Warnings:
Allegra-M Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Allegra-M Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

- Nausea, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Skin rash, Flu-like symptoms, Headache, Drowsiness, Dizziness.
- How to use:
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Allegra-M Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- How it works:
- Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose, and improves symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which blocks the action another chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
