Misty Gel, often known as artificial tears, is used to alleviate dry eyes. This can occur when insufficient tears are produced to keep the eye moist. It helps to relieve the discomfort and burning associated with dry eyes by keeping the eyes properly lubricated.

Misty Gel is normally taken as needed. Use the number of drops prescribed by your doctor. Wait at least 5-10 minutes before administering any further medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Before opening a bottle, be sure the seal is intact. Always wash your hands and avoid touching the end of the dropper. This may infect your eye. This medication may be used for an extended period of time and can be taken safely for as long as necessary.
