Description:
Chericof Syrup is a medication used to treat the common cold and cough. It can quickly relieve coughing and other typical cold symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness.
A dry cough, also known as a non-productive cough, is one that does not produce phlegm or mucus. This is annoying, frequently accompanied by a tickly throat, and can be caused by a cold, the flu, allergies, or throat irritants. Chericof Syrup alleviates dry, hacking coughs. It will also ease allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, and throat discomfort, allowing you to go out your everyday activities more comfortably. - This medication's most common adverse effects include headaches, drowsiness, double vision, vomiting, diarrhoea, dry mouth, and nausea. The majority of these are transitory and normally resolve themselves over time. If you are concerned about any of these adverse effects, contact your doctor right away. This medication may also cause tiredness, so do not drive or perform any other tasks that need mental focus until you know how it affects you. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication because it can exacerbate your tiredness.

- Take this medication in the dose and period prescribed by your doctor. Before using, double-check the directions on the label. Use a measuring cup to take it by mouth. Shake well before using. Chericof Syrup can be taken with or without food, however it is preferable to take it at a specific time.
- How it works:
- Chericof Syrup consists of three medications: phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine maleate, and dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows the tiny blood vessels of the nose, relieving congestion or stuffiness. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergy medication that improves allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that soothes coughs by inhibiting the function of the cough centre in the brain.
